NATT+ Competition 2013 – Roots and Routes

We are pleased to invite young people to enter 2013’s Gypsy Roma Traveller History Month competition, once again organised by NATT+.

This year’s contest is called Roots and Routes.

Where are you coming from? Where are you now? Where are you going?

Entrants can send stories, poems, collages, photographs, drawings or paintings inspired by the subject Roots and Routes. Research the history, culture and lifestyle o Gypsy, Roma and Traveller people to produce your piece of work. The theme is journeys, which can be either from one place to another or over time.

It could be as simple as a journey to school or on holiday. It could be a family tree or the many stories about the historical journeys of the Gypsy, Roma and Traveller communities.

There are six age categories. :
Foundation stage, Key Stage 1, Key Stage 2 Lower, Key Stage 2 Upper, Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
