Tatcho Drom

Tatcho Drom, which means “true journey” in the Romany tongue, is a London-based quintet playing acoustic music from the Balkans and beyond with the flair and passion of generations past. They bring an infectious energy, spirit and humour to their performances, enchanting their audiences onto the dance floor.

At the heart of Tatcho Drom’s unique sound are the imaginative arrangements and compositions of virtuoso violinist Gundula Gruen. To experience the music of Tatcho Drom is to embark on a magical journey through the Eastern regions of Europe with a group of musicians who are dedicated to celebrating the essence of Gypsy and Balkan music with all its fire, charisma, and charm.
